We've tried to go for a varied lineup, so hopefully there'll be something for everyone! Bring some money because some of the bands will have demos and merch for sale on the night!
One Ill World
A Spalding based metal band formed in 2004/2005 comprising of Adam Cooley
on Vocals and Guitars, Jeremy Ely on Guitars, Edward Thornton on Bass Guitar and Tom Waite on Drums.
Originally a classic rock quartet, the band realised the error of their ways, and turned to the path of metal in late 05/early 06.
One Ill World were the opening act at the last Blackout back in January 2006 and since then have come a long way musically. Blackout is to be their last gig as the band have decided to call it a day.
Plasticene
Returning (much to the joy of many who know of them) from 'indefinate hiatus' (a term coined by the band but made fashionable by others) Plasticene are back, with Garry on vocals and guitar, Marc on bass and backing vocals, Sam on drums, James (bassist of the Innuendos - yeah he'll be shattered by the end of Plasticene's set) on keyboard and Matt on guitar.
They have almost completed the writing of their third album 'Hey, Watch This!' alledgedly 14 songs about television slated for release around September, and are about to embark on thier summer dates...
Innuendos
Four piece electro-indie-punk-rock band from Spalding. Comprised of Jon, James (also keyboardist of Plasticene), Greg and Dan they have a decent 10 track demo entitled "It's Only Just Begun".
They do a great cover of "I bet you look good on the dance floor" by the Artic Monkeys!
Isolation
Isolation are a three piece punk band from Spalding. Formed two and a bit years ago, their lineup has remained consistant: George Turner on vocals and guitar, Ashley Hewlett on bass and Marc Flannery "hitting things with sticks".
Influenced by the likes of The Ramones, The Clash, Rise Against and Bad Religion, their songs are full of energy and easy to sing along to.
The Unhallowed
"The Unhallowed are a four peice Metal/Hardcore band from Peterborough. We love Music, Mini Chedders, Beer and Porn. x"
Says it all really...
Ben on vocals, Jim on guitar, James on bass, and Alex on drums.
Pontypool
Pontypool describe themselves as "acoustic, funky, and melodramtic", opening Blackout with their light-hearted songs, Pontypool will set up the night nicely. Vocals and guitar are done by Curtis, Jake on the "sexyphone", Todd on bass, Glen on drums and then Lambey "Provider of Extra String Manipulation Where Required".
