The Crew

Blackout is completely organised and run by the four of us. We want to thank Loaded, 'cause your brilliant to us, the bands, because Blackout would be a bit dull without you, and especially the fans, because without the support you give us on every event we undertake, stuff like this just wouldn't be happening in Spalding.

Alex Bilbie

Alex oversees the vast amount of organisation and admin that the rest of the team create. When he's not on the phone he's usually organising the guest list or counting the money! Alex works closely with our venue, our suppliers and the rest of the crew to make sure we're not spending too much money on you guys! On the night he'll be either taking photos with his bloody camera, or playing with the lights.

Alex also created all of the graphics and this website, so any problems let him know - email alex.bilbie [at] quitegoodmedia.com

James Farndon

James is responsible for the technical advice within the team, liasing with our venue to make sure the lights flash when they're meant to, the screen shows your messages when you text them, the music is loud enough and nothing goes bang! He's the one who booked all the great bands you'll see on the night.

Chris Santry

Chris - our resident nerd (and he's proud of it!). Apart from doing a lot of technical stuff on the night to make sure the interactive stuff (screens, website, sms) work, the lighting is amazing and the music you hear is good, he also spends a lot of time organising our events. He also plays a part in thinking up new ways for us to shamelessly plug ourselves at every opportunity!

James Orr

James is the face of the team, talking to the press, trying to get us plugs anywhere he can and forever on the phone to the rest of the team. He's also the one with the money, so the team are always nice to him! Finally James is criticism personified, which isn't a bad thing. It means the artwork is fantastic, the website works, your texts are displayed correctly on Loaded's video screens and the whole thing just looks "cool".
